Built at a martial arts school in Lakewood Ranch, Florida
Run your studio. We'll run the rest.
Tuition, sign-ups, attendance, belt testing, and the follow-up you never get around to. $1 per member a month. Priced for the school that looked at Kicksite, Zen Planner, Spark, and MyStudio, then closed the tab at the pricing page.
What it does
The things a school actually runs on.
Tuition that collects itself
Autopay, family plans, sibling discounts. A card fails, FlowHQ retries it and texts the parent. You find out it was already handled.
Leads that don't go cold
A parent asks about classes on Instagram at 9pm. FlowHQ books the trial, sends the reminder, and tells you when they walk in.
Know who's about to quit
Two missed weeks in a row is the warning sign. FlowHQ flags it and drafts the text. You decide whether to send it.
Check-in at the door
Students scan in on a tablet. The roster fills itself while class is starting.
No-shows, waivers, the front desk
The small stuff that eats a Tuesday night.
Belt rank and testing
Every student's rank, stripes, and time on the mat. When testing comes around, the eligibility list is already built.
Some of that is AI. You should not have to care which parts.
Pricing
$1 per member, per month.
That is the whole pitch. Running the school should not cost more than running a class, and the platforms built for 800-student chains are priced like you are one.
One engineer, no sales team, no offices to pay for. Here is why that matters.
Who you are actually emailing
I'm Matthew Laping.
I run Laping Martial Arts Black Belt Academy in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. I have been on the mat as a student and as an instructor, and I have been the parent in the lobby.
I have also been a software engineer for twenty years, most of it spent building systems that had nothing to do with martial arts. The systems you have been quoted were built by large organizations, and you are paying for the organization more than the software. I build with AI, which lets one experienced engineer ship what used to need a team. The twenty years decide what gets built. The tools only make it fast.
FlowHQ is new. I am looking for the first few academies to build it out with, so if it does not do something your school needs, tell me and it goes on the list. I am not a software company with a sales team. Email info@flowhqapp.com or call (941) 840-0212 and you get me.
Built for martial arts first. It fits dance, gymnastics, and cheer schools too, but martial arts is the world I actually know.
See it on your own roster.
Bring your student list and I will show you the parts you care about. If it is not a fit, no worries. We will both have met someone fighting the same battle.
